I feel irresponsible Thursday, 24 July 2008 My dad called, told me that our beagle is already in labor. Unfortunate because I scheduled my mandatory leave on the last week of July because that's the week we're expecting her to deliver her puppies. So I decided to go on half-day to assist our beagle, "Shiny". So I arrived home...found her in the garden, digging in the mud -- that's where she decided to give birth. So I pulled her out of the mud and bring her somewhere else but she insisted to go back in the garden. I no longer know what to do so I brought her to our Vet. In there she had labor from 3:30 until 10:00pm. So we have 7 pups all-in-all. 5 male, 2 female. The only problem is that our beagle won't feed her pups and seems to avoid them.
